The role involved managing the reverse logistics operational move from one location to a new site. This involves the Warehouse build / fit out, the people element with HR, The systems integration and infrastructure with IT.
I worked alongside a Wincanton Project Manager. Wincanton run the overall site that the client moved into and use an allocated DC. The transition of the operations will be phased in with phase 1 going live in Stafford in August 2015.
This role of Global Program Manager involves managing a Windows 7 upgrade roll out project. Managing this team involves splitting my time between Coventry and Stuttgart in Germany. Travel to other European Business Units was also a pre-requisite of this roll out project as we progressed through the roll out plan.
This role included managing a team of Super Champions who were part of the project team. The role involved project managing resource and activities during the WMS upgrade project. The WMS upgrade saw this company upgrade the PkMS R2002 WMS to the latest version – WMoS 2011XR release.
This role included managing a team of implementation specialists. The role also involved managing the roll out of a Voice Picking solution, across the companies DC network. A total of 16 sites have been implemented and gone live since April 2009.
